Eighties EP

Whilst I decide if and when to finish some post ideas, I shall celebrate some more music because 1, this is easier and 2, it's currently occupying my tiny brain space slightly more than cinema. I continue to watch and enjoy numerous films - particularly proper introductions to French auteurs, Chabrol and Rohmer but unless there is a strong personal connection or moment within, which I feel the need to convey in words, I prefer not to spill out some bogstandard review - that's a waste of everyone's time!

Later in the year, I am planning (!) to post my favourite albums and tracks of 2010 but for now, here's a few more hidden (to some) absolute gems from the Eighties:

  1. Seems like you might love Ministry of Sound's 80's Electronic Anthems compilation.
MoS has been boring as fuck lately but that is the one flawless thing they've done in the last five years.

  2. Thanks for the tip Jose.

Most of these compilations can be a little samey but there do seem to be a few underated tracks on there.

What you listening to at the moment?

  3. In order of most to least listens:
    Kylie Minogue "Aphrodite"
    Las Robertas "Cry Out Loud"
    Shakira "Sale el sol"
    Best Coast "Crazy For You"

I'm a creature of habit, I can listen to the same albums over and over if I love them and I love those at the moment.
