Welcome to our humble blog, exploring the delights, frustrations and all other manners of emotions connected to this glorified light and sound show we call cinema. As we are based in the East Midlands of England, we shall endeavour to report on the local film scene including festivals, screenings and (film) talent. We agreed to begin our story here, as for better or worse, the film year both culminates and begins after the glitz and glamour of the Oscars (a subject to be discussed imminently no doubt).
